February’s Photo Quote
When I am out searching, I never have a set idea of what it is I'm looking for. i simply seek, occasionally finding exactly what it was i wasn't seeking. ~ Jeff T Alu
February’s Vision Quote
If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are -- if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time. ~ Joseph Campbell
Nice photos. Very crisp and clear. Good luck.
Love the reds, wood textures, and all those long vertical lines.
Reminds me of sunny winter scenes seen from the backseat window as we drove to my grandmother’s house for a Sunday afternoon.
Snow and red barns; two of my favorite subjects. Not that it matters, but do you get out of your car to photograph the barns or are you a “drive by shooter?” However you do it, nice work!
Lovely perspective shot. Old red barns from any angle is a favorite of mine.
Love the texture and shadow and detail. I see what you mean about the shadow in the lower corner. Perfect!!!
nice shapes
I like the sun and the shadows. I think the reason so many barns are painted red is because i makes them look so warm in winter!
Sun and snow and a red barn. I think the setup exists in many places. But you are using your eyes and doing a good job. Perfect! Thanks.
Perfectly framed! Bravo!
To answer Sue’s question–though I do take a few drive-bys , if I really, really want a photo, I try to stop. And since I’ve recently been limiting myself to using my 50 mm, I find I almost always have to get out of the car if I want the shot. With no zoom to help me compose my photos, I have to actually move myself!
Very nice, Bo. I like the way you framed this.
great shot. I love the shadows, too.
Ya just gotta love them old faded barns…this is pretty with the colors…i’m a barn lover…
