This lovely yellow flower has one of the most spectacular crowns I’ve ever seen. Photographed at the University of British Columbia Arboretum in Vancouver.

That does look like a crown. Unusual blossom but very pretty.

  I’ve never seen a flower like this with a raised crown either, and the flowers weren’t ID’d in any way. And they were growing in the University’s arboretum…
