Living the Desert Life – A Summary in Book Spine Poetry

Today, QuinnCreative wrote a post on her blog about composing found poetry using book spines. I have tried my hand at found poetry before – composing a poem by using words on a page of a novel – but never had much success. But the challenge to use book titles, especially from my smallish collection of books I hauled to the Arizona condo, was simply too much to resist.

And so I began. Considering I had limited resources, I decided to do a trilogy of book spine poetry using the theme of “living the desert”. That way I could use several titles more than once.
