From my first camera, a Brownie camera I received as an eight-year old, to my first film SLR, a Pentax K-1000 camera and my discovery of the darkroom in my early twenties, to my current all digital set-up, I have been seeing life–and limitless possibilities of creating art–through a lens. Today I document my world–nature, architecture, history–from a close-up and personal perspective.
I take my Seeded Earth gallery on the road throughout the year, exhibiting my photography on the art festival circuit. I travel and photograph throughout the 48 contiguous United States, although most of my photography is from my two home states, Wisconsin and Arizona, plus New York City, and the National Parks.
I exhibit at art fairs in the Upper Midwest (Wisconsin, Illinois) during the summer and autumn seasons, and in Arizona (Tucson area) from January through April. (See Art Fairs for the current show line-up.)
While my first love is found in the natural world, my second love is architecture, especially when man-made synchronizes with the natural setting. I also do freelance architectural photography and photo shoots for airbnb.com.
